Surefire say that the new 60 round magazines will fit in a dual AR mag pouch. They are correct of course, but I think the term fit is used fairly loosely. Its not a great fit and it doesn’t feel all that stable. I was recently offered the chance to play with one of these magazines, so i put a design together, along the same lines as some of my other magazine pouches.
I made the magazine sleeve a little longer and of course added a flap and a nice large buckle to keep everything secure. I could have used Velcro too.
